TEXAS TOPS NCBWA POLL

DALLAS (NCBWA) — The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the sixth year with its weekly Top 35 survey for games played through Feb. 17.

Weekly polls will continue through the Monday (June 23, 2003) following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb.

Defending national champion Texas remains on top of the NCBWA poll, which has representation from nine different conferences and top independents among the 285 baseball-playing schools in the NCAA Division I ranks.
