outfielder Colby Roberts was named National

Roberts batted .667 (12-18) with four doubles, two homers,
seven runs scored and 15 RBI's in JMU’s 4-1 week. The Benton,
Ark., native was 4-4 with two homers and five RBI's in a win
over Radford and drove in six runs in the opener vs. Georgia
State last Saturday. Roberts, who is riding an 11-game hitting
streak, entered last week with only seven RBI's for the season.
Musgrave led the Mountaineers to a 1-0 win in game one at
Texas with a complete game shutout, allowing just six hits
(three infield hits). The Bridgeport, W. Va., native struck out
nine, walking just two, in the 124-pitch effort, in which he
retired the Longhorns in order in the first, second, sixth and
seventh innings. It was the first time since the final game of
the 2011 regular season (Texas A&M) that Texas had been shutout
at home in complete game fashion in Big 12 play.
