Chekwa, a 6-0, 190-pound senior from Clermont, Fla.,
intercepted two passes, broke up two passes and made six tackles
(one for a loss) in Ohio State's 36-24 victory over Miami (Fla.)
One of his pass break-ups was in the end zone and forced a
Hurricanes' field goal in the first quarter. His two
interceptions during the final seven minutes of the first half
helped the Buckeyes stymie Miami's offense and fashion a 26-17
lead at halftime.
