DALLAS (NCBWA) – A batting average that wound up just shy of .600 as part of an American Southwest Conference series and a pair of historic pitching performances led Mary Hardin-Baylor's Chase Burrow and the duo of Coe College's Connor Alberhasky and Texas-Tyler's Cason Adams to Division III National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Player of the Week honors for the period of March 23-29.

Burrow, a junior outfielder from Groesbeck, Texas, went 11-for-19 at the plate for a .579 average and slugged 1.000 over four Cru wins last week. He closed out the Louisiana College series going six-for-six, driving in six runs and scoring five runs in a 17-16 win. Burrow had two home runs, including a walk-off solo shot with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning. The American Southwest Conference Hitter of the Week drove in eight total runs and scored 11 more in the span.

Alberhasky, a senior right-handed pitcher from Iowa City, Iowa, threw the third no-hitter in program history in a 7-0 win over Loras March 28. He struck out five and walked just one while throwing just 60 pitches. Only two Loras hitters reached base, one off a walk in the fifth inning and one courtesy of a fielding error in the seventh. The first was stranded at second base, while the second was erased on a 4-6-3 double play. The Iowa Conference's Pitcher of the Week compiled the league's first no-hitter since 2011 when Loras' Kendall Paluch twirled a no-no against Cornell.

Adams, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Rockwall, Texas, was also historic in his outing March 28 against Hardin-Simmons, throwing the second no-hitter in UT-Tyler history. Adams was nearly perfect, retiring 21 of 23 batters, allowing just two walks in seven innings on the mound and struck out nine batters in the team's 4-0 win. The American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Week's no-no was the first by a Patriots' pitcher since Kevin Dutcher (2006) blanked Paul Quinn, 10-0.

Honorable Mention Hitters: Tommy Ziegan, So., Inf., Old Westbury: Went nine-for-18 with four multi-hit performances and four extra base hits. Scored six runs, drove in 12 and tallied a pair of three-hit performances which included hitting a two-run homer and a grand slam on Mar. 29 while driving in a career-high six runs in the Panthers' 23-3 win over Mount Saint Vincent. Added a two-for-four outing with two RBIs on Mar. 24 as OW edged Baruch, 5-4 … Corey VanDomelen, Sr., SS, Linfield: Smacked four extra-base hits, including three doubles and his first career home run, as part of a nine-for-12 (.750) performance as Linfield took the NWC series by winning two of three vs. Willamette. Extending his hitting streak to nine games, he was three for-five with two doubles in a 7-0 win, three-for-three with a double and a home run in a 3-2 win, and three-four-four in a 4-2 loss, registering a .750 on-base percentage and 1.250 slugging percentage and driving in four runs with five runs scored.

Honorable Mention Pitcher: Derek Harkin, So., RHP, SUNY-Canton: Not be left out of the no-hitter theme this week, he turned in a no-no March 28 against St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn in his only start of the week. The sophomore struck out two batters in the second such feat in as many seasons for the Roos baseball team.
