Senior ties 65-year-old SEC record
AUBURN'S ROSEGREEN NAMED BRONKO
NAGURSKI NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DALLAS (FWAA) – Auburn safety Junior Rosegreen (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) is this week's recipient of the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week award for his performance in the Tigers' 34-10 win over Tennessee this past Saturday.

The senior tied a 65-year-old Southeastern Conference record when he intercepted four passes in Auburn's victory at Tennessee. He also collected six tackles (two unassisted) in Knoxville as Auburn won first the first time at Neyland Stadium since 1983. Rosegreen has five interceptions this season, tying him for the national lead, and eight for his career.

For the fourth straight season, the All-America committee of the the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) will select the winner of the weekly award on behalf of the Charlotte Touchdown Club. The winner is announced each Tuesday throughout the season.

Rosegreen has been added to the Watch List for the 2004 Bronko Nagurski Trophy which will be presented on Dec. 6 in Charlotte, N.C., by the FWAA and the Charlotte Touchdown Club.
