Reinhard, a junior from Marinette, Wisc., set a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record with 19 strikeouts on April 17 in Wisconsin-Whitewater’s 6-3 10-inning win against Wisconsin-Stout. He also broke the school record of 15 set by Kelly Mulroy against Wisconsin-Platteville on May 1, 1999. He struck out 11 of 15 batters between the fifth and ninth innings and pitched all 10 innings, allowing four hits, one earned run and no walks. He also tossed four innings against Wisconsin-Platteville on April 14 and allowed just two hits and no runs, while striking out four batters. He was WIAC Pitcher of the Week.

Shamrock, a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, fired his first career no-hitter in last week's series-opening 8-0 win against Wabash. Shamrock struck out 10 batters and walked only two in his dominating performance. On Thursday against Otterbein, Shamrock pitched a scoreless ninth inning, striking out two batters to help Denison to the 10-9 win, earning his first career save in the process. He is 4-2 on the year and has struck out 49 batters in 41.0 innings pitched. He was North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.
