DALLAS (FWAA) – The Oklahoma Sooners rallied from 25 points down in the second quarter and kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive, beating Baylor on the road, 34-31. Jalen Hurts overcame three turnovers with four touchdown passes and Gabe Brkic kicked the game-winning 31-yard field goal with 1:45 on the clock. The biggest comeback in school histry that ended Baylor's 11-game win streak earned the Sooners (9-1) the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Nov. 16.

The announcement came on "Playbook” on ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM. Each Monday during the season the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week will be unveiled during the program, which airs weekdays from 1-4 p.m. ET. The FWAA's All-America Committee selects the weekly winner and all Division I FBS and FCS schools are eligible to be selected.

“I put us in a horrible situation and we found a way to come back," Hurts said. "We overcame adversity, and you're remembered for what you do in November. So it's a big-time win today."

Hurts completed 30-of-42 passes for 297 yards and threw three touchdowns to freshmen receivers Austin Stogner and Theo Wease, who stepped up in the absence of standout wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who was held out due to a medical decision. Hurts, who lost one of his two fumbles into Baylor's end zone and had an interception, also ran for 114 yards.

Oklahoma has won 19 consecutive games in November since a loss to Baylor in 2014. This is the seventh time for the Sooners to earn the Team of the Week honor and first since 2017 following a 31-16 win at Ohio State.

The other National Team of the Week nominees for the weekend of Nov. 16 were:

• Georgia (9-1): The Bulldogs clinched a third consecutive SEC Eastern Division title with a 21-14 win at Auburn, their third straight win in the series. Jake Fromm was 13-for-28 for 110 yards and three touchdowns and D'Andre Swift posted a fourth 100-yard game (17 for 106) and passed 1,000 yards (1,027) rushing for the season.

• Iowa (7-3): The Hawkeyes scored on their first three possessions and handed Minnesota its first loss of the season, 23-19, to keep the Floyd of Rosedale Trophy at home. Since 1999, Iowa is 5-1 at home in November against top-10 teams. The Hawkeyes' three losses to ranked teams Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin have come by a combined 14 points.

• Iowa State (6-4): The Cyclones won on Connor Assalley's 36-yard field goal as time expired as Iowa State got a sixth win, 23-21 over Texas. Iowa State passed up an earlier field goal try when a Texas offsides penalty extended its drive with 2:12 left. The Cyclones then milked the clock and try a closer field goal, which gave ISU its first win on the final play since a 1983 win against Kansas.

The Football Writers Association of America has named a national team of the week since the 2002 season. In addition to the members of the FWAA All-America Committee, one fan vote from Twitter decides the weekly honor.
