DALLAS (FWAA) – The Virginia Cavaliers snapped a 15-game losing streak in the Commonwealth Cup series, scoring twice in the final two minutes for a 39-30 win over Virginia Tech that also gave them the ACC's Coastal Division title for the first time. For earning a ninth regular-season win for only the eighth time in school history, Virginia (9-3) earned the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Nov. 30.

The announcement came on "Playbook" on ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM. Each Monday during the season the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week will be unveiled during the program, which airs weekdays from 1-4 p.m. ET. The FWAA's All-America Committee selects the weekly winner and all Division I FBS and FCS schools are eligible to be selected.

This is the first time for Virginia to earn the Team of the Week honor, and the Cavaliers are the first ACC school to win it since Pitt won in the final week of the 2017 season after upsetting No. 2 Miami.

Virginia quarterback Bryce Perkins accounted for 475 of the Cavaliers' 492 total yards, rushing for a career-high 164 yards and his team's first two touchdowns to go with 311 passing yards. The 164 rushing yards are the third-best mark for a quarterback in school history, much of which came on a career-long 67-yard touchdown run that gave UVA a 13-3 first-quarter lead. Hasise Dubois led the team with 139 receiving yards.

Big plays were the catalyst for Virginia, which posted its 492 total yards despite only gaining 14 first downs. The Cavaliers' defense also came up with big plays, forcing two fumbles, including one in the end zone that was recovered for a touchdown to seal the win. The Cavs also had two interceptions, eight tackles for loss and six sacks for minus-45 yards.

The other National Team of the Week nominees for the weekend of Nov. 30 were:

• Auburn (9-3): The Tigers returned two interceptions for touchdowns, Anders Carlson kicked four field goals and Auburn pulled off a 77-yard game-winning drive late for a wild 48-45 win over Alabama in the Iron Bowl. One of Carlson's field goals was a controversial 52-yarder at the end of the first half when one second was put back on the clock after a booth review following a running play. Alabama missed a game-tying 30-yard field goal with two minutes remaining.

• Central Michigan (8-4): The Chippewas hammered Toledo 49-7 to win the MAC's West Division and advance to the MAC Championship Game for the first time since 2009. CMU, which gained 552 total yards, has won six of its last seven overall and went undefeated at Kelly/Shorts Stadium for the first time since 1980.

• Ohio State (12-0): The Buckeyes beat arch-rival Michigan for an eighth straight year by a 56-27 count as J.K. Dobbins broke loose for 211 rushing yards on 31 carries with four touchdowns. His 260 yards of total offense is now the most by an Ohio State player in the 115-game series. Justin Fields had four passing touchdowns in another 300-plus-yard day (14-of-25, 302).

The Football Writers Association of America has named a national team of the week since the 2002 season. In addition to the members of the FWAA All-America Committee, one fan vote from Twitter decides the weekly honor.
