DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association
continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the eighth year with
its 2005 weekly surveys. Weekly polls will continue each Monday through
June 28, following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb.
The Texas Longhorns won three of four games this week,
including two of three at Nebraska, to keep a stronghold of the top
ranking in the NCBWA Top 35. Tulane won each of its four games,
including a three-game sweep of C-USA foe Charlotte to move head of Cal
State Fullerton into the No. 2 spot.
