Tulane hops to No. 2; Ga, Tech, Florida stay put in Top 5
TEXAS IS NO. 1 IN NCBWA POLL

DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the eighth year with its 2005 weekly surveys. Weekly polls will continue each Monday through June 28, following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb.

The Texas Longhorns won three of four games this week, including two of three at Nebraska, to keep a stronghold of the top ranking in the NCBWA Top 35. Tulane won each of its four games, including a three-game sweep of C-USA foe Charlotte to move head of Cal State Fullerton into the No. 2 spot.
